When a minor (any person under the age of 18) is accused of a criminal offence, their case will be heard in the Children’s Court. Shane Collins-Daly has vast experience of dealing with juvenile offences and has been appearing in the juvenile court protecting the rights of minors since 2007. Shane understands the particular importance of advising minors and their parents/guardians who are accused of criminal wrongdoing.

The Children’s Court will generally try to address the underlying factors which have led to a juvenile offending and look to support rehabilitation rather than impose punishments.
